Manage Currencies

Overview

Manage currencies in the user panel to control the currencies used for billing in hosted.ai.

Access the Currencies Table

Access the currencies table in the user panel.

In the sidebar, click the Objects section. Then, select the Currencies card.

The currencies table displays each currency's name, code, symbol, separator, delimiter, precision, assigned pricing policies, and status.

Manage Existing Currencies

Each currency row provides an options menu (three vertical dots) to manage the currency. Use this menu to activate, deactivate, edit, or delete a currency.

Change Currency Status

To activate an inactive currency, select Activate from the options menu for that currency.

A modal will appear to confirm this action.

Click Confirm.

You will see a success notification.

Similarly, to deactivate an active currency, select Deactivate from the options menu.

Edit a Currency

To edit a currency, select Edit from the options menu for that currency.

This opens a form where you can change the currency's name, code, symbol, ISO numeric code, precision, delimiter, separator, and locale.

Description

Code

A unique set of letters representing the currency, often consisting of three characters.

Symbol

A graphical symbol that denotes the currency, used as a shorthand for the currency's full name.

ISO Numeric Code

A three-digit numeric code representing the currency, assigned by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Precision

The number of decimal places to which the currency is typically rounded.

Delimiter

The character used to group large numbers into more readable blocks, often a comma or a period.

Separator

The character used to separate the whole number from the fractional part, usually a period or a comma.

Locale

Refers to the region or country where the currency is used, affecting its formatting and representation.

Click the Finish button to save your changes.

Delete a Currency

To delete a currency, select Delete from the options menu for that currency.

A confirmation modal will appear.

Click Confirm to delete the currency.

A success notification will appear.

Add a New Currency

Click the Create currency button to add a new currency.

This opens a form with fields for the currency's name, code, symbol, ISO numeric code, precision, delimiter, separator, and locale.

Click the info icon next to any field, for example Precisionfor further information .

Delimiter and Seperator cannot be set to the same value for a currency

Click Finish to create the new currency.

A success notification will appear, and the new currency will be added to the currency table.
