Create a Shared Storage Volume

Access Team Shared Storage

To create and manage your team's persistent storage, navigate to Shared Storage tab within your team settings.

Select Region for Storage

To ensure your shared storage is provisioned in the desired geographical location, select the region where you want to create the shared storage point from the available options.

Define Shared Volume

Enter Volume Name

To identify your shared storage volume, enter a unique and descriptive name in the Volume Name field.

Select Volume Size

To allocate the necessary storage capacity for your team's data, choose one of the predefined storage block sizes from the available options.

These options are configurable through the policies.

Initiate Volume Creation

To begin the provisioning process for your shared storage, click the Create Volume button after defining its name and size.

Monitor Volume Creation

Verify Volume Status

To confirm your shared storage is being provisioned, observe the status of the newly created volume in the shared storage list. It will display Creating during this process.

Wait for Volume Availability

To ensure the shared storage is ready for use, allow a few minutes for creation to complete. The status will change from Creating to Available, at which point you can mount it to pods or subscribe to it for GPU pools.

Volume Ready First

If you are adding this volume to a GPU pool subscription, wait until its status is Creating. It will not appear as an option until creation is complete.
