Overview
Understand the different user roles within hosted·ai and their respective capabilities for managing resources and teams.
Users can manage their own account settings, including security options, API Tokens and SSH keys, regardless of role or team membership.
Full Administrator
Full Administrators have complete control over the hosted.ai platform, enabling them to manage all aspects of the system.
They can view, create, edit, and delete teams, users, workspaces, instances, policies, and objects. Full Administrators manage instance power actions, including starting, stopping, and restarting instances. They also manage global configurations like SMTP and team settings. They also control billing, including exporting data and downloading invoices. Full Administrators handle user access and permissions by assigning roles and managing team users (inviting and removing). They manage all policy types, including resource, roles, image, instance type, pricing, and service policies.
Team Admin
Team Admins manage their assigned teams, including members, workspaces, and instances.
They can invite, edit, remove, and assign roles to team users. If globally permitted, Team Admins can create new teams. They can view and export billing data for their teams. Team Admins can also perform most instance operations within their team, including moving, editing, and executing power actions.
There must always be at least one user with a Team Admin role in a team
Team Member
Team Members can view associated overviews, members, workspaces, and instances.
They have limited actions on their own instances, such as creating, editing, performing power actions, and moving them between workspaces.
