Overview
Manage your instance types to control available resources. Enabling or disabling instance types allows you to customize the available options for your workloads.
Instance types define the different configurations available for instances. They determine the hardware components like CPU and memory that are allocated.
hosted·ai allows you to use predefined or configure your own configurations to align rations of CPU, memory and also storage via Storage Blocks.
Navigating to Instance Types
Navigate to the Objects item in the sidebar, then click it.
Click Instance Types.
Viewing Instance Types
The instance type table displays the specifications for each instance type, including the associated Storage Blocks.
You can use the Search bar to filter instance types, or fiter dropdowns to reorder, or show only enabled or disabled Instance Types.
Interacting with Instance Types
Scroll through the Instance Types table to view instance types you can interact with.
Enable or disable instance types using the toggle switch, this action controls which instance types are available for use for new instances, it doesn't have an impact on existing instances.
After enabling or disabling an instance type, you will see a success notification which will disappear after a few seconds.
Sort Instance Types
Sort instance types alphabetically using the Sort Order dropdown.
The options are "A - Z" and "Z - A".
Filter Instance Types
Filter instance types by status using the Status Filter dropdown.
