Overview
Manage team access and allocate resources using resource policies.
Creating a Resource Policy
Begin by clicking Resource Policy. Enter a name for your policy and click Next Step to proceed to resource settings.
Defining Global Restrictions
Set global restrictions that apply to all resources for assigned teams. You can restrict resources like Memory and CPU. Select the restriction type (e.g., Restricted) and enter the restriction value (e.g., 12 for CPUs). You can add multiple global restrictions.
Defining Regional Restrictions
Regional restrictions apply to specific regions or clusters. Select an access level: No Access, Unlimited, or Restricted.
Access levels determine which teams can use specific resources and how much of those resources they can use. No Access restricts the team to no usage, Unlimited allows full access as long as within the constraints of any global restrictions, and Restricted limits the amount of the resource which can be consumed.
Defining Restrictions for Restricted Regional Access
If you selected Restricted access for a region, you can further refine access for GPU as a Service pools and Resource Groups.
For Resource Groups, choose from No Access, Unlimited, or Restricted access.
For GPUaaS Pools, choose from No Access orUnlimited
Finalizing the Policy
Click Preview to review your configured restrictions. If everything is correct, click Next Step. and you are able to assign the resource group to one or more teams immediately, or skip assignment and the policy will be available to assign to teams in future.
